Taking place in Cua Ong Temple in Cam Pha city, Quang Ninh province, the festival includes traditional rituals, including Sacrificial Ceremony and Farewell Ceremony on Monday. Other exciting games are tug of war, stick pushing, human chess match, blindfolded ball smashing, and art photo display.

Vi Thi Bich Thuy, a resident of Quang Ninh, said,“I see that the annual Cua Ong festival is organized meaningfully and solemnly. This is a tradition that demonstrates when drinking water, remember the source, when eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree, as well as filial piety towards ancestors and famous cultural and historical figures.”

Cua Ong Temple Festival is cherishing the "Miner Culture" identity of Cam Pha, a city known for itscoal mines, praying for peace and prosperity for the country, and preserving the local heritage.
